\u2022\u00a0Opportunities for<\/strong>\u00a0Italian and foreign researchers, teachers, experts, personalities and cultural operators<\/p>\n

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation supports and encourages study and research activities carried out by Italian and foreign researchers, teachers, experts, personalities and cultural operators in Italy and abroad.<\/p>\n

The main aim of the grant is to encourage the development of strategic partnerships, cultural and scientific projects between foreign and Italian institutions in the medium and long term.<\/p>\n

Who is it for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following can apply for a grant:
\n\u2022\u00a0Foreign researchers, professors, experts, personalities and cultural operators<\/strong>\u00a0invited to spend a period of stay at Italian universities or cultural institutions for study or research.\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0Italian researchers, teachers, experts, personalities and cultural operators<\/strong> invited to spend a period of stay at foreign universities or cultural institutions for study or research.<\/p>\n

The grant<\/strong> is paid as a lump sum and covers up to 10 days of activity (for a maximum amount of 1,500 euros).<\/p>\n

The payment of the grant will take place after completion of the mobility upon delivery of the necessary documentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to ask for the grant<\/strong><\/p>\n

Candidates can apply for the grant, drawn up according to the attached form and complete with the required documentation, by writing to the Italian Cultural Institute (icilondon@esteri.it<\/strong>) and to Unit\u00e0 di Coordinamento per gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura\u00a0 (dgdp.unic.cap2619@esteri.it<\/strong>) until Thursday 31st of July 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Within ten days of the end of the mission<\/strong>, in order to receive the contribution, the applicant<\/strong> must supplement their request by submitting the following documents to both the Italian Cultural Institute and the Unit\u00e0:
\n\u2022 Travel documents, such as flight tickets and boarding passes;
\n\u2022 Certificate of attendance issued by the host institution;
\n\u2022 Final report on the activities carried out.<\/p>\n

The Italian Institute and the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy (DGDP) of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation agree to grant on the following criteria:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Resume of the applicant;
\n\u2022 Medium and long-term impact of the mobility in terms of development of cultural or scientific projects and partnerships between Italian and foreign institutions;
\n\u2022 Prestige of the cultural institutions involved;
\n\u2022 Principle of equal rotation among the beneficiaries;
\n\u2022 Compliance of the activities with the geographical and thematic priorities identified by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy;
\n\u2022 Cultural cooperation program in force between Italy and the country involved.<\/p>\n

Information and deadlines<\/strong><\/p>\n

The grant application forms are attached. Activities are due to end no later than 15 November 2025<\/strong>. Furthermore, candidates have to send the documentation to the competent offices by the same deadline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For further information, it is recommended to contact the Italian Cultural Institute (icilondon@esteri.it).<\/p>\n

Italian beneficiaries will receive the amount of the grant directly from the DGDP while foreign beneficiaries will receive the contribution through the Italian Cultural Institute.<\/p>\n
