The Seminario Permanente Luigi Veronelli and the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, the two leading organisations for food awareness and culture in Italy, have joined forces to create the Alta Scuola Italiana di Gastronomia Luigi Veronelli (“Luigi Veronelli” Italian Advanced School of Gastronomy).
Headquartered on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, the School is a state-of-art centre for the education in food and agriculture, with an emphasis on their unique role in Italian cultural identity.
Starting from May 2019, the Alta Scuola Veronelli will be offering a variety of multidisciplinary study programmes aimed at industry professionals (chefs, sommeliers, restaurant managers, agro-food companies, journalists, etc.) and enthusiasts willing to acquire expert knowledge of Italian food and food culture.
The Directory Board of the School will illustrate the nature and scope of the project and give an overview of the courses.
Guests will have the opportunity to taste a unique selection of wines, kindly offered by our esteemed partners.
