Presentation of the book “Anita” by Alain Elkann with Sandro Veronesi

Presentation of the new novel Anita by Alain Elkann

The author will be in conversation with Sandro Veronesi

Anita left, thus ending a love-story that seemed would have lasted forever. Milan is unprepared, sad, entangled by regrets and nostalgia which induce him to imagine, as a consolation, how that love would have been if they had met in their youth instead of their sixties. This is a novel enriched by glimpses of irony, overwhelmed by the tenderness of memories. The ending of a great love story and the ending of the existence on earth intertwine with a serenity that is not detachment but full, complicated, and contradictory assumption of the fragilities of life and emotions.
