Wunderkit – London series with Gianluigi Ricuperati and Elisa Talentino

A talk with the artists Gianluigi Ricuperati and Elisa Talentino and curators Lea Iandiorio and Giulia Capodieci. Chaired by Emiliano Paoletti.

Format by BASE Milano

Elisa Talentino and Gianluigi Ricuperati. An illustrator and a writer, both from Turin, known for their multifarious creative processes: writing, illustration, motion pictures, essay writing and art curatorship. Many paths, many forms and the possibility to develop their talent by deepening the different languages of art and communication. Starting from them, an itinerary to speak about a dynamic and alive Italy, with an “open-to-the-word-gaze” and with practices that are in the world, in a possible contemporaneity that has been wanted and pursued through the creativity of cultural enterprises.

All coordinated by Wunderkit, an interviews format ideated by the creative hub BASE Milano, an urban renewal project in the former Officine Ansaldo, inaugurated in 2015, that is growing and developing to generate new reflections for the XXI century city and to create connection between the arts, disciplines and languages.

WunderKit guests introduce 5 highly symbolic objects that reveal something about them, metaphors through which to explore a particular theme, their field of work, their sources of inspiration, and the tools of their trade.
