Elements of the Circular Economy

The Scientific Office of the Embassy of Italy in the United Kingdom and the Italian Cultural Institute in London in collaboration with AISUK, presents the first Science for Society event Elements of the Circular Economy on the occasion of the UNESCO International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements.

The European Chemical Society (EuChemS) has produced a new periodic table as a contribution to the UNESCO proclaimed International Year of the Periodic Table. It highlights the amount of each element in the earth’s crust and atmosphere and the vulnerability to dispersion over the next few years. We shall discuss what we must do to nurture the 90 elements that are the only building block of our beautiful and diverse world.
