FILL – Festival of Italian Literature in London

FILL is a festival of Italian literature and ideas created by an independent group of London-based Italian intellectuals, journalists, translators and academics.

FILL offers the opportunity to bring together different and international personalities from different backgrounds discussing literature, politics, migration, translation and contemporary topics in a suggestive location, the Coronet Theatre, a Victorian venue in the heart of Notting Hill.

This year, FILL is back on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November 2019, offering a very ambitious programme: the speakers will include the Strega Prize winner Edoardo Albinati in conversation with author Rachel Cusk; philosopher Donatella Di Cesare with Turkish journalist Ece Temelkuran on the future of democracy; The Guardian’s Gary Younge; Oscar-winning Asif Kapadia on the myth of Maradona; Alberto Prunetti and Anthony Cartwright discussing social class; poet Rebecca Tamás and radio presenter Loredana Lipperini with a reading performance on witchcraft; and many other.
