Emerging Translator Mentorship 2021-22

Translators from Italian wanted

ICI London is one of the supporters (for Italian) of the Emerging Translator Mentorship Programme of the National Centre for Writing in Norwich: once again this year, translators from several languages, including Italian, are invited to apply for this scheme, founded by Daniel Hahn in 2010, which aims at developing new cohorts of literary translators into English, particularly for languages whose literature is currently under-represented in English translation. The mentor for Italian this year is Howard Curtis, translator of, among others, Luigi Pirandello, Beppe Fenoglio, Leonardo Sciascia, Gianrico Carofiglio and many more.
