This January and February the British Film Institute will pay tribute to the revolutionary work and fascinating personality of Michelangelo Antonioni (1912-2007). You will be able to enjoy some of his greatest masterpieces, such as Zabriskie Point, La Notte, L’avventura, and The Passenger, as well as attend interesting talks on the art of the Italian director.
Certainly one of the most influential Italian modernist filmmaker, he is known worldwide for his chronicle of the bourgeois ennui and the original choice of the loneliest landscapes for his locations.
