Enrico Franceschini in conversation with Antonello Venditti

Following the advice of British authorities on the Coronavirus with regard to people travelling to/from northern Italy, we are sorry to inform you that the event has been cancelled.

Enrico Franceschini, journalist and Italian writer, talks to Antonello Venditti, Italian musician and author of Sotto il Segno dei Pesci. Forty years after its release, Sotto il Segno dei Pesci is still able to bring together different and apparently distant generations under the same constellation: this is demonstrated by the extraordinary success of its celebration tour, which has reached sold-out shows in Italy over the past year and continues with the same success even in its summer leg.

Briography
Antonello Venditti turns to music at an early age, driven by his mother’s influence. After a first period of piano lessons, he develops a more personal approach and begins to write songs, the first of a long list being Sora Rosa. He introduces this piece to his friends at Folkstudio—the prestigious Roman club which gathered the young folk circuit, including artists such as Giorgio Lo Cascio and Francesco de Gregori.
