Frida Bollani Magoni was born in Versilia, Tuscany, in 2004.

She started studying the piano at the age of 7, under Maestro Paolo Razzuoli, who taught her the Braille music notation. She has collaborated regularly with the Orchestra Operaia di Massimo Nunzi (Jazz Big Band) both as a singer and as a pianist performing at the Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma. In 2017, she has performed as a guest at the Bianca D’Aponte Prize (a song writing prize) at the Aversa Theatre and the following year she sang at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Special Olympics at the Montecatini ippodromo playing and singing in front of an audience of 10.000 people.

Frida has often performed as a special guest at her parents’ concerts (Petra Magoni and Stefano Bollani) in Italy and abroad, and also has experience in musical theatre having performed in The Adventures of Peter Pan and Jesus Christ meets the Orchestra.

Frida’s live debut took place on 23 July 2020 at the Giardino Scotto in Pisa and she has been busy performing and working on her music since then: In April 2021 she was a special guest in the TV show Via dei Matti numero 0 hosted by her father Stefano Bollani and Valentina Cenni, she has participated in her first national tour and has performed at several sold out concerts and on prime time TV programmes.

A rare talent, Frida has just come out of an emotional performance on the occasion of the celebrations of the 2nd of June at the Quirinale, in the presence of the President of the Republic. Besides a moving performance of the National anthem, the young musician has played and performed a touching version of Lucio Dalla’s masterpiece Caruso and has payed homage to the late Franco Battiato with a wonderful interpretation of the song La Cura.

She currently studies piano at the Liceo Musicale in Pisa.
