Some of the artists have an enduring relationship with Italian culture, others may have a brief but enchanted encounter.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the traditional values of the academies have little influence on why an artist might travel from England to Italy. However, <strong>Italy<\/strong> is one of a few countries where <strong>the visual culture of its past remains visible<\/strong>, at the street level as well as an integral part of our perception of today\u2019s society. This is the primary reason for artists wanting to travel to Italy to hone their art.<\/p>\n<p>Featured artists include:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>David Austen + Josephine Baker + Stephen Farthing RA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Mali Morris RA + Stephen Nelson + Joseph Tilson RA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Jake Tilson + Mark Wallinger<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ART EXHIBITION<\/strong>: 1 \u2013 27 OCTOBER 2023, Mon-Fri from 10 am to 5 pm at the Italian Cultural Institute in London (39 Belgrave Square, London S1X 8NX).<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIVATE VIEW<\/strong>: Tuesday <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>3rd of OCTOBER 2023<\/strong><\/span>.
