Carolina Bandinelli is Associate Professor in Media and Creative Industries at Warwick University. She has been on the Italian and international cultural scene for over ten years thanks to her contributions on creative work, desire and digital media. He research work has featured on international media including Bbc, New York Times, El País. In 2024 she published Le postromantiche: sui nuovi modi di amare (Laterza), an essay on love and sex culture. Her novel La più brava came out with Nutrimenti in 2024

Giorgia Tolfo holds a PhD in Letterature postcoloniali e comparate from the Università di Bologna and a Master in Digital Humanities from UCL.  She is a researcher of collections at the National Archives since 2023. She has written articles for Italian and international publications. Giorgia has co-founded FILL (Festival of Italian Literature in London), writes and produces podcasts. Wild Swimming is  her first novel, published by Bompiani in 2025.
