Alessandro Martire – Places of Music: Postcards from Soul

Concert: Alessandro Martire – Places of Music: Postcards from Soul

Presentation of the new album by Italian composer and pianist Alessandro Martire:

Every composition by Alessandro Martire seems to follow a natural law: lightness as a form of depth. His notes do not weigh, they do not insist. They settle on the air like reflections of light, drawing sonic gardens in which silence itself becomes part of the music. In this suspended space, balance and purity coexist; between the human gesture and the breath of nature, between the precision of sound and its inevitable escape.

Alessandro Martire (Como, 1992) is an internationally renowned Italian pianist and composer, capable of  blending classical music with contemporary sounds, minimalism, and pop language. He began composing at the age of fifteen, after developing an early passion for the piano at eleven, and continued his training at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he specialized in new-age composition. At the same time, he earned a degree in International Relations from the University of Milan, combining artistic curiosity with a global vision.

Guided in his youth by Maestro Giusto Franco, Martire soon embarked on an international career with tours across Europe, Russia, Asia, and America. His projects combine innovation, landscape, and performance: from the Floating Waves Concert on a performance on a floating platform on Lake Como, to the Ice Waves Experience in St. Moritz (2021), to appearances in unique natural and architectural settings such as Milan Cathedral, the canals of Venice, or the Frasassi Caves.

In 2019 he founded the Lake Endless Joy Festival, an event that brings together music and the cultural enhancement of the Como area. With Aria, his original composition, he presented the official emblem of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, while in 2023 he performed The Future of Nature on the occasion of COP28 in Dubai.

He collaborates with international organizations such as National Geographic and Steinway & Sons, and received the Nations Artistic Award in 2021. He is also the founder of Infinity Sound, a non-profit organization established in 2015 to promote inclusive events and projects for young people with disabilities.

His music — clear, evocative, and deeply rooted in nature — invites an inner listening, introspective listening, where every note becomes a space of emotion and freedom.
