When the boundaries of photography expand through the innovative, experimental, often radical gazes of authors who use photography not merely as a tool but as a form of writing and inquiry. Nino Migliori, Francesco Radino, Mimmo Jodice, Maurizio Galimberti, Mario Cresci, Franco Fontana, Franco Vaccari and Carlo Orsi have transformed the camera into an instrument of poetic, conceptual and formal investigation. The documentaries tell different journeys, yet all united by the desire to explore the visible beyond appearances—through urban geometries, chromatic abstractions, fragments of time and reflections on the very language of the image itself.
