The Circolo is proud to announce the second edition of Match POiNT Junior, the literary‑artistic competition for children aged 8 to 12 living in the United Kingdom.
The theme of Match POiNT Junior – “THAT TIME WHEN …” Every day brings endless possibilities: an idea, the beginning of a dream, an unexpected friendship with the classmate who sits next to you; a new instrument to learn, a new sport or a new recipe. An adventure, a surprise (given or received), a trip, a concert, a particularly special Christmas, a goodbye, a new page waiting to be written… Among all your dearest memories, which one are you most attached to? Which experience, above all others, would you like to put down on paper because you absolutely don’t want to forget it when you grow up?
The literary and artistic competition has been organised under the patronage of the Italian Consulate General in London and in collaboration with the Institute of Italian Culture, Book o’Clock, Sial and Il Libro Possibile. The jury, composed of authors Gloria Danili, Beatrice Sica, Ericavale Morello and publisher Julia Brizi della Rosa will announce the young winners in October 2026 as part of the celebrations for the Week of the Italian Language in the World.
