Join us as we rediscover Francesco De Gregori, Il Principe of Italian songwriting, reflecting on the meaning and enduring power of his songs through the stories and insights of Piero Tarantola and Ugo Buizza.
Their conversation will be accompanied by live music from Paolo Cavagnini, musician and director of L’Ottava, a music school based in Brescia that also hosts a recording studio and live music venue, whose stage has welcomed leading names from the Italian and international music scene.

Paolo Cavagnini is a musician, teacher, composer and arranger. He graduated from the Civic Jazz School of Milan, where he studied with Franco Cerri. For many years he has served as President of the Ottava Association, under whose leadership it has become a leading name in the music scene of Brescia.
Founded in 2004 in Brescia, L’Ottava is a contemporary music school that also operates as a recording studio and venue for live music and performances. Over the years, its stage has welcomed prominent Italian and international artists, including Stefano Bollani.
