As part of the 53rd edition of the International Flaiano Awards, Literature section, the 25th International Flaiano Award for Italian Studies “Luca Attanasio” is being held in 2026.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Under 35 category dedicated to new digital languages is also confirmed. Its aim is to continue recognising the promotion of Italian culture around the world through younger generations using new technologies. A new category, “La Lingua geniale”, has also been introduced.
Candidates residing within the jurisdiction of the Italian Cultural Institute in London (England and Wales) may submit their application by emailing icilondon@esteri.it by 28 August 2026, together with the following:
- a short biography;
- a presentation of the book, written in Italian;
- a PDF copy of the book (or a digital copy of the work, for works in other formats).
Winners will be invited to attend the awards ceremony, which will take place in October in Pescara, marking the conclusion of the 26th edition of Italian Language Week in the World (SLIM).
