Slide

The FASHION DIALOGUES return at the Italian Cultural Institute in London with a series dedicated to BEAUTY. Fashion historian Matteo Augello will interview inspiring guests to explore the many facets of the beauty industry and culture. Timed to coincide with the beginning of the London Fashion Week, the new season kicks off with the talented hairstylist Dora Roberti.

Born and raised in Sicily, Roberti moved to London at 21 to start her career, which has led her to collaborate with the biggest names of the industry, such as Armani, Fendi, Bulgari, Dolce & Gabbana and Nike. She is capable of bringing characters to life through hair and exploring its connection with art.

Roberti has created a timeless, vibrant and versatile style. Largely influenced by the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, she moves beyond trends and explore themes and concepts that showcase the texture and shape of the hair. Roberti has an impressive book of editorial work, campaigns and shows, and her work has been featured in the most renowned magazines such as Vogue, L’Officiel, The Wall Street Journal and CR Fashion Book.

The event will take place on Wednesday 17th September at 6.30pm and will last approximately one hour, followed by Q&A. It will be conducted in English.
