Future Classics. Screening the New Italian Cinema #2
Future Classics is a new film series that explores the best of Italian contemporary cinema, painting a vibrant portrait of present day Italy through its faces, its landscapes, and its stories. Co-curated by the Italian Cultural Institute in London and CinemaItaliaUK, the series offers a unique opportunity to investigate a key phase of the rebirth and evolution of the Italian film industry, from the wave of new directors, to the rise of independent producers and the revival of genre cinema.
The screenings will take place every last Sunday of the month throughout 2026 in cinema screens in Central London.

The Italian Cultural Institute in London is the official Italian governmental body dedicated to promoting Italian language and culture in England and Wales.
CinemaItaliaUK is a charity registered in England and Wales (est 2019) with the aim to promote Italian culture by bringing the best of its cinema to the UK, a mission it had since its founding in 2014 as a limited company. Its objective is to advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, particularly the art of Italian film by the establishment and maintenance of a film society. Our dedicated team works to design and deliver a curated offer of screenings, festivals, and talks that go beyond the mainstream, spark insightful conversations, and encourage a rich and meaningful exchange between cultures.
