Notes and Words: The Story of the Great Italian Singer-Songwriters
From Bennato to Luigi Tenco. From Milan to Naples, passing through Genoa, Bologna and Rome. This evening we will talk about the singer-songwriters of the 1970s, about their songs that have become part of our lives and remain with us today. Songs that prepared us for “the year to come” and told us that “Behind the hill there is no one left. Only pine needles, silence and mushrooms.” Words that revolutionised music – and, in some way, our lives too.
Piero Tarantola and Ugo Buizza will be joined by musicians Daniele Gozzetti and Piergiorgio Cinelli from L’Ottava music school in Brescia, which also houses a recording studio and a live music and performance club, whose stage has hosted many leading names from both the Italian and international music scene.
The event will be in Italian only.
