ICI London is delighted to launch The Italian Library, a collaboration with Italian books unquestioned authority Ornella Tarantola, formerly manager of the Italian Bookshop.
In our beautiful Montale Library, Ornella will talk about books and writers, music and Sanremo, star signs and podcasts, Gadda, and Virginia Woolf.
The second appointment is on Wednesday 31 January (6.30 pm) with a conversation about Italy’s most famous singing competition: the Festival of Sanremo. “Sanremo is always Sanremo”, as they say, but why is that? A history of Sanremo and Italians, told with the tongue firmly in cheek by song-lovers Piero Tarantola and Ugo Buizza, with singer-songwriter Susanna Paisio.
This is an in-person and in-Italian-only event.
