The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation provides contributions to co-finance, at the applicants’ choice:
1. Creation and maintenance of Italian language chairs: contributions aimed at partially covering the remuneration of teachers directly employed by educational institutions under local contracts.
2. Scholarships for study visits: on a subsidiary basis, partial contributions for study stays in Italy reserved for students who have distinguished themselves for their achievement in Italian language and culture courses.
Who can apply
The applicant must be a public or private educational institution of any level, operating on a permanent basis in the country where the application is submitted.
How to apply
A specific application must be submitted for each contribution requested. The application must:
1. be drawn up on the applicant’s headed paper in Italian;
2. set out the reasons for which the applicant is requesting the contribution;
3. be signed by the person legally representing the applicant (e.g. school head, etc.);
4. include, depending on the type of contribution, Annex A (applications for support for Italian language chairs) or Annex B (applications for scholarships or study visits), completed digitally.
Only if the applicant has been granted a contribution in a previous year, the application must also include, depending on the type of contribution obtained in that year, Annex A/2 or Annex B/2.
Only applications whose forms are completed in editable PDF format will be accepted.
