GeM Award 2026
In 2017, Gloria Trevisan and her fiance’ Marco Gottardi, young and talented architects from Italy, came to London to find work and were delighted to have found an affordable flat on the 23rd floor of the Grenfell Tower. They both died tragically in their flat during the fire in London on 14 June 2017.
Out of the grim horror of the disaster, Peregrine Bryant Architects founded the Gloria e Marco Charity (GeM) in their name to provide an annual award to foster an exchange and help talented Italian graduates in studying and gaining experience in architectural conservation in the UK.
On 28 September, the Charity will celebrate and bid farewell to the three 2026 scholars, following their UK scholarship.
