L’improbabile piena dell’Oreto. A concert by Dimartino

Dimartino presents L’improbabile piena dell’Oreto (Numero Uno / Sony Music), his fifth studio album, a return to the solo dimension that takes shape as a continuous flow, a sonic narrative in which the songs follow one another without interruption, pursuing the idea of a constant, organic, natural movement. At the heart of the album is the river, understood as a symbolic and narrative image: a place of mystery, transformation and accumulation, capable of holding both gold and waste, crossed by legends and imaginary presences. An imaginary that also draws on personal memory, such as that of the mythological creature u sugghio – an amphibian with the body of a lizard and a human head – evoked in family stories and today reproduced in the album artwork by the artist Igor Scalisi Palminteri. The river thus becomes a visual representation of time flowing and a key to reading the entire project.

The concert, part of the L’improbabile piena dell’Oreto Tour 2026, designed to restore live the most essential and fragile dimension of the songs through a guitar-and-voice formula that places listening at the centre
