The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation provides financial contributions to co-fund the costs incurred by applicants for teaching staff required to cover Italian language lectureships. In particular, these contributions are intended to partially cover the remuneration of lecturers directly employed by universities under local contracts.
Eligibility
Applicants must be higher education institutions operating on a permanent basis in the country where the application is submitted. As a general rule, applications cannot be considered from universities where permanent MAECI lecturers seconded from Italy are already in post.

A separate application must be submitted for each contribution requested. The application must include the following documentation:
- A formal letter of request and statement of motivation from the university;
- Form A, containing the Embassy’s opinion and a declaration confirming that the document conforms to the original held on file by the Office;
- Form B, namely the final report on the use of any previously granted contribution, including the Embassy’s opinion.
