The University of Trento has published the admission calls for the 2025-2026 academic year for two Master’s degree programs offered by the School of International Studies:

  • Master’s in International Security Studies (MISS) – offered jointly with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
  • Master’s in European and International Studies (MEIS).
  • Both programs are entirely taught in English.

The admission calls include a reserved quota for non-EU citizens, defined as candidates who:

  • Hold citizenship of a country outside the European Union and are not residents of Italy;
  • Hold citizenship of a non-EU country with a residence permit for study purposes in Italy but are not residents in Italy;
  • Hold citizenship of a non-EU country with temporary protection status, are not residents in Italy, and have not obtained a high school diploma in Italy.

Top-ranked non-EU candidates may be awarded scholarships covering part of their living expenses in Italy, amounting to €7,200 per year. The available scholarships are 1 for the MISS program and 3 for the MEIS program.

In addition to scholarships, a tuition fee waiver may be granted to a larger number of students based on their ranking in the admission list. Further financial support is also available for descendants of Trentino emigrants.

For non-EU citizens, the application deadline is March 6, 2025.
