LICAF – The Lakes International Comic Art Festival 2021
Italian guest: Manuele Fior, a cartoonist, illustrator and architect born in Cesena, Italy, and currently based in Paris, author of several graphic novels including the most recent Celestia (Oblomov / Atrabile 2020)
ICI London is pleased to support the 2021 edition of LICAF, the comic art spectacular taking place in the Brewery Arts Centre and across the town of Kendal (Cumbria), from 15 to 17 October, with a programme packed full of live draws, masterclasses, talks, presentations and a chance to get up close to the best comic creators in the world!
Superheroes, future worlds, fantastical creatures, zombies, crime fighters, politics, satire, documentary, comedy, manga and much more. The world of comic art is a diverse and spectacular place, bursting with creations that transport us to other dimensions and stories that explore the world and our place within it.
The family-friendly festival takes over the scenic town of Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District, for a weekend of wonderful events, activities and workshops for all ages.
