To mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Italian Cultural Institute will screen the documentary “Inferno Mittelbau Dora” (2016, 54 mins), by Mary Mirka Milo.

Mittelbau Dora was the last and most ruthless concentration camp built by the Nazis. The prisoners worked tirelessly in its underground tunnels to produce V2 missiles, the secret weapon that should have annihilated the enemies of the Third Reich.
The exceptional testimonies of the survivors reveal the incredible story of this unique forced labour camp.

Mary Mirka Milo was born in Rome in 1975. Director, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker, in 2008 she founded the Light History, a Film Company, dedicated to the production of historical documentaries for the Italian and the foreign market. She lives in Rome.
