The 2022 edition of the exhibition dedicated to Italian design and the promotion of its talents around the world.
The sixth edition of Italian Design Day will take place on 23 March. Since 2017, this event has been one of the leading tools to promote design as a distinctive element of “Brand Italia” and to internationalize the production system that originates from it.
The theme chosen for this year is “Ri-Generazione. Design e nuove tecnologie per un futuro sostenibile (Re-Generation. Design and new technologies for a sustainable future)”, a theme in line with previous editions and reflecting the growing global focus on sustainability.
ICI London, in collaboration with Istituto Marangoni, are celebrating Italian Design Day with a talk on Thursday 24 March 2022 with renowned designers Giulio Cappellini and Federica Capitani. Find more information about the event and booking details at this LINK.
Italian Design Day 2022 is promoted and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as part of the BeIT and Vivere all’Italiana (The Italian Way of Life) initiatives and by the Ministry of Culture, thanks to the contribution of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity, in synergy with Fondazione ADI Collezione Compasso d’Oro, ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, ITA ICE Italian Trade Agency, Triennale Milano, Milan Furniture Fair, FederlegnoArredo, and Altagamma.
