ICI London, the Italian Embassy and Cinema Italia UK team up to present this special screening of Marco Chiappetta’s first feature film, produced by Teatri Uniti, Riverstudio, Audioimage with the contribution of MIC Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo, and Regione Campania, with the collaboration of Film Commission Regione Campania.
After 40 years of exile in Argentina, Roberto, a blind novelist, comes back to his native city, Naples, for his mother’s death. Along with his brother Lorenzo, a former guitarist, he starts a journey of memory through the city of his youth he can’t see anymore but only feel through the other senses and his imagination, looking for the tragic reason of his departure.

Marco Chiappetta (Naples, 1991) graduated in Modern Literature at Università Federico II, Naples, and in Film Studies at Université Paris VII – Diderot. Since the age of 17 he made several short films and directed many making of feature films and tv shows for companies such as Warner Bros and Disney. Santa Lucia is his first feature film.
