On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Arandora Star tragedy, which cost the lives of over 800 people including 446 Italian internees being deported from Great Britain to Canada during WWII, ICI London, the Mazzini Garibaldi Club Ltd and the Arandora Star London Memorial Trust present the First National Commemorative Conference, with contributions by several distinguished experts and scholars, and two screenings.
