Breaking Bread with Dante

A series of enlightening seminars about Dante Alighieri’s life and works

Presented by Alessandro Scafi (Warburg Institute), Tabitha Tuckett (UCL) and John Took (UCL)

The aim of this series is to explore some of the leading ideas of Dante’s work and their continuing significance to us. The audience will be introduced to Dante’s life and works, walked through the Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso of the Divine Comedy, and they will discuss Dante’s understanding of a variety of topics including love, nature, language and theology, learning about his relevance to contemporary existential concerns.
