Retrospective launch

retrospective

Tuesday 30 January, 6pm

Ghislandi & Gutenberg Ltd present the official launch of “Retrospective”

“Retrospectrive”is the first released project by Ghislandi & Gutenberg Ltd. and it proposes itself as an “anthology of ideas” which gathers together the works of writers, artists, philosophers and creatives from many parts of the world. Every contribution has been published in the original language of the author in an attempt to create an inclusive and limitless community. “Retrospective” has been designed in respect of a philological approach to the old broadsheet. Conceived in Italy and produced by Stroma in the United Kingdom, it is distributed online by Newsstand and worldwide by Ra N’Olly (with a limited distribution in Italy with Mdm). Two versions are available: one in Italian and one in English with a different front page. Number 2 for instance features Dacia Maraini for the Italian version and a conversation between Paul McCartney and Barry Miles for the International one.Ghislandi & Gutenberg Ltd. is also expanding its branches of interest into the publication of books, Lps and a future “Retrospective Festival”.

The event will feature the participation of creator and co-founder Glauco Della Sciucca together with co-founders Mario Di Paolo and Lorenzo Tamburini and the attendance of Martina Mazzotta from Fondazione Mazzotta. The event will be moderated by journalist Alessandro Allocca.
